Gold Natural Cake Mascara | Eyeliner | Brow Filler | Cream Eyeshadow

This hygienic, zero waste vegan cake mascara also functions as eyeliner, brow filler, and cream eyeshadow. Unlike old-school cake mascara, it does not need to be moistened with water before each use (old-school cakes are havens for bacteria -- yuck).

This product now comes with eco-friendly bamboo applicators. Just snip off the nylon tips before composting.

This easy to use vegan, zero waste cake mascara / eyeliner is made with castor oil, which promotes lash growth. Each tin comes with both an eyeliner applicator and a mascara wand. With this product, you can give your lashes a boost of NATURAL LOOKING volume. This is also the perfect eyeliner for winged and smokey eye looks and is safe to use on your waterline!

Since this mascara does not contain any silicones or alcohol, it will take a couple minutes to dry completely! I am presently looking for an eco-friendly, skin-friendly alternative to the aforementioned substances.

This product is essential oil-free. Please be wary of any eye products involving essential oils, as they can be very irritating to this delicate area.

Ingredients: gold mica (mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide), organic castor oil, kaolin clay, organic candelilla wax

DIRECTIONS:

TO ACTIVATE (this is important), ADD A DROP OR TWO OF SKIN SAFE OIL to the cake mascara and work it through the product with a spoolie. Since charcoal is incredibly absorbent, activation is pretty much required for BLACK cake mascara. If you purchased a shade other than black, you will likely only have to activate it if you go several weeks without using it. You ONLY need to activate your mascara initially (if you purchased black) and then again if it happens to dry out – NOT every time you use it!

Wash your face and eye area before applying, as you would before using any other makeup.

To use as mascara, bend the tip of spoolie 90 degrees and roll it in the product. Apply as much as desired to lashes and wipe any extra product off on the rim of the tin. Clean-Faced Cosmetics’ mascara is buildable, so feel free to apply as many coats as you would like! For extra staying power (recommended for oily skin), set your mascara with a translucent powder -- tapioca starch and arrowroot powder work fine for this as well. I also sell a special setting powder for this purpose – it’s called “All Day Long Powder” and also functions as eye primer, lash lengthener, and regular setting powder.

To use as eyeliner, use the fine-tipped brush to apply the product along your lash line and/or waterline (yes, it’s safe to use there!).

To use as brow filler, roll the spoolie in the product and apply as much as desired to your brows. You can even use the fine-tipped brush to fill in any sparse areas!

To use as cream eyeshadow, use either your finger or an eyeshadow brush to apply the product to your lids.

To clean your brushes, wash with either a mild antibacterial soap or at least 60% isopropyl alcohol. Please remember to sanitize your brush after each use and store it in a clean space -- because eye infections are NOT fun.

Remove with any skin-friendly oil.
